Judy Nelsen, 74, of Kansas City, Mo passed away February 2, 2017 from a stroke. Visitation and services will be held 10:00 AM, Sunday, February 5, 2017 at Walnut Creek Cemeteries, 1350 East Pierce Street, Council Bluffs, Iowa. Mrs. Nelsen was born May 4, 1942 in St. Edwards, Nebraska. She spent her career as an Operating Room Nurse, retiring from Bergan Mercy Hospital in 2008. She was preceded in death by her husband Ken Nelsen. Survivors include: son Scott Bengtson, daughter-in-law Stacey Bengtson, granddaughters Jourdan, KC, Presly Bengtson, fur baby Chuy Nelsen, Daughter Teri Koenig, son-in-law Mark Koenig, grand dogs Phyllis, Benson, Zoot Koenig and Zoey, Bubba, Bam and Kane Bengtson, and a brother Larry Nelson.
