Glenn Edward Bowerman, 90, Independence, Missouri passed away March 19, 2017. A graveside service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 701 S Noland Road, Independence, Missouri.
Glenn was born May 15, 1926 in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan, Canada. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1950-1954. He worked in construction for most of his life as well as Andes & Roberts for 25 years. He loved his 60 acres in Buckner, Missouri with a 12 acre lake now known as the 3rd clearest lake in Missouri. He was an ordained Elder of the First Congregation of the Remnant Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Glenn was preceded in death by his wife Donna Bowerman. He is survived by his five children; Bryan Bowerman (Independence, MO), Terry Bowerman (Independence, MO), Greg and wife Susan Bowerman (Independence, MO), Dwight Bowerman (Independence, MO), and daughter Cindy Hansen (Independence, MO), grandchildren; Michael and Laura Bowerman, Scott Bowerman, Amy Treece, and Eric Hansen, great grandchildren; Bradyn, Addy, Steven & Myla, and many other family members.
