Lisa Harrison

The God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast.
– 1 Peter 5:10 (NIV)
Lisa Ann Harrison (Huntsucker) died with her son at her side last night at St. Mary’s Hospital, Blue Springs, Missouri. She was 50 years old.
Born December 22, 1966 to Billy Ray and Peggy Ann (Wagener) Huntsucker, Lisa was struck down in the prime of her life with a massive stroke in 2011. She lived with a caring family at Collier Care Center in Blue Springs over these six years. They became an extended part of our family and blessed us all richly.
Lisa’s cousin, Paula Higbee, accepted guardianship of Lisa’s son, David Aaron David Harrison and has been lovingly nurtured and protected by his three other “brothers”, Brent Stepanek, Garrett Robert Higbee and Nathaniel John Higbee. David has been on the honor roll this year at Wentworth Military Academy where he will graduate May 13th.
Lisa was whip smart, with an acrid sense of humor and fun, fun, fun to be with anytime!  She made her profession of faith and was baptized as an adult at Heart of God church, Sibley, Missouri.
The family wishes to acknowledge all who loved Lisa and Aaron, keeping them close at hand and heart, particularly, Joe and Miranda Harrison, Shelley Recknor, and Suzi Carr-Campbell.
A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. Heartland Cremation, Raytown, MO.
Donations in Lisa’s name can be made to Collier Care Center, Blue Springs Missouri or Wood Chapel Church Youth Program, Lees Summit, MO
