Densil “Brownie” Brown

Densil “Brownie” Brown, 75, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away June 17, 2017. A military graveside service will be held at 3:00PM, Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri. A visitation will be held from 11:00AM-1:00PM, June 22, 2017 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, Missouri. Mr. Brown was born March 18, 1942 in Higginsville, Missouri to Dorsey and Margaret Brown.

Densil grew up and attended high school in Higginsville, Missouri. He later married Mary Dent and they had 3 children; Denny Jr., David, and Kristina. Densil proudly served our country for 8 years in the United States Air Force. He then worked about 45 years in the Kansas City area as a mechanic and service manager.

Survivors include his wife Mary, children; Denny (Lea Anne) Brown, David (Conny) Brown, and Krissy (Travis) Paul, 7 grandchildren; Nick Brown, Allison Paul, Abigail Paul, Garrett Brown, Storm Scogin, Kasstina Scogin, and Bo Scogin, two brothers Jerry Brown and Harvey Brown, and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

    Uncle Densil was truly one of a kind; he was as good as they come! He will be missed by all until we are reunited in heaven where we will no doubt find him at the great fishin’ hole in the sky!

    Sending so much love to the Brown family. I am so very sorry this world lost a man who cared so deeply about others. He was always willing to help others and never failed to ask how your life was going. I will miss him at all family functions. Rest in peace Brownie. Bill will be glad to see you and go fishing. Tell him I love him and miss him.
