Philip Weddle

Philip Brian Weddle, 67, of Overland Park, KS passed away on June 15, 2018. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 3rd at 12:00pm. Memorial Service will follow at 2:00pm. Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Rd., St. Louis, MO 63123. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, Affton, MO.

Philip was born in St. Louis, MO to Delmer E. Weddle and Melba Haggerty Weddle. He graduated from University of Missouri – Rolla with a Master’s in Civil Engineering. He earned an MBA from Washington University – St. Louis. Philip initially worked for Monsanto Company’s Engineering Department, and continued his career in the Chemical and Bio-Tech Industries. Upon retirement, he was employed at Sam’s Club in Overland Park, KS.

Philip was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Janet Laudenslager of Columbia, MO; his brother, Stephen D. Weddle of Columbia, MO; and his niece, Sandy Laudenslager of St. Louis.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Hollman Weddle; son John D. Weddle; and daughter Annamarie E. Weddle, all of Overland Park, KS. He is further survived by brother-in-law Jack Laudenslager and his wife, Sharon of Columbia; sister-in-law Christine Cloutier-Weddle of Columbia; nieces Lori May of Houston, TX, Christine Laudenslager, Holly Christine Curtis of Columbia, Ashley Windsor of St. Louis, Grace Weddle of Columbia, and their families. Additional survivors include brothers-in-law Ed Hoeferlin and Mark Hollman of St. Louis, and Vincent Hollman of Huntsville, AL; and sisters-in-law Deb Hoeferlin and Michelle Hollman of St. Louis, and their families.

Philip will be dearly missed.
