Marvin “Dale” Davis, 85, of Knob Noster, MO passed away August 10, 2019 from his battle with cancer. Graveside services will be held at 4:00pm Monday, October 14, 2019 at Knob Noster Cemetery, Knob Noster, MO.

Mr. Davis was born July 28, 1934 in Ava, Missouri. After retiring from the Air Force Dale and Isabel spent most winters where it was warm. They enjoyed winters in Corpus Christi, Texas where Dale played golf with the “Rowdy Golfers”. He loved his golf and card playing buddies at Royal Oaks. He enjoyed mornings with the gang at Micky D’s. He was a loyal friend, loving husband, awesome father, wonderful grandfather, and a darn good golfer! If there is a golf course in Heaven he is playing on it now. He will be missed.

He was preceded in death by: wife, Isabel (Cave) Davis; father, Frank Davis; mother, Gertie Davis; sisters: Lavera (Davis) Nelson, Thelma (Davis) O’Halleran and Jean (Davis) Duncan; brothers: Sherman Davis and Henry Davis.

Survivors include: son, Jeffery Davis & wife Kelly of Knob Noster, MO; daughters: Dianne (Davis) Reese & husband Rob of Colorado Springs, CO, Jennifer (Davis) Brewer & husband Mark of Moro IL and Cynthia (Davis) Hill of Oklahoma City OK; sisters: Media Key of Lakeland FL and Alta Schmidt of Jerome, ID; brothers: Jesse Davis of Lakeland FL and Frank Davis Jr. of Yelm, WA; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
