Lois L. Elliott

Lois Elliott, 89, Grain Valley, Mo passed away Dec. 14, 2019. Private family services will be held. She will be interred with her late husband Oscar at Woodlawn Cemetery in Houston, TX at a later date.

Lois LaVerne Maddux Elliot was born September 6, 1930 in Little River, Texas. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved antiques and ran her own antiques store in Houston, TX for many years. She loved to garden where she grew roses, her favorite flower. She was a woman of strength giving her best to everyone. She was a generous person helping whomever she could. She was also a world traveler visiting Europe and the Holy Land. She faced many trials in life with perseverance and faith that God would bring her through.
She is preceded in death by her parents Evy and Cleve Maddux, her brothers, George, Arthur, Charles, James and Baby Maddux. She is survived by her sister Virginia and her daughters, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her daughters are Brenda Treadwell, Jan Scott and her husband Duane, and Cindy Lee and her husband Dan.
Her Grandchildren are Christopher Reider and his wife Carrie, Dylan Reider, Jordan Reider, Ariel Reider, Tyler Scott, Danny Guggenheim, Heather Dayton and her fiancée Paul Lindgren, Holly Davis and her husband Steve, Amanda Hite and her husband David, Corey Lee and his wife Kelsey. Her great-grandchildren are Sara Dayton, Daniel Dayton, Jade Dayton, Deagen Guggenheim, Emily Curtis, Caleb Curtis, Addie Hite, Preston Lee and Logan Davis.
She loved her family. She loved her life. She loved God.

    What a beautiful lady! Lois will always be young, she will always be beautiful! May you all have peace knowing this! I’m so sorry for your loss! My prayers are with all the family!
