Lillian Louise (Kittrell) Williams, 94, of Raytown, Missouri, passed away on February 12, 2020. She was born near Seneca, Missouri, the youngest of 13 children to Abby Leona and Harris Kittrell. She married Knox Williams on September 3, 1945 and had two children, Alice Elkins and David Williams. Lillian spent 25 years caring for children of Raytown school teachers, providing loving care for the children and their families. They became part of her family and she loved teaching them how to press cookies and enjoy her beautiful flower gardens. With her husband, Knox, she was active in her churches (FBC Raytown and Abundant Life), visited homebound friends and cared for those less fortunate. She was always eager to live by God’s example of love, benevolence and care. To her family, she was “Little Granny” and found joy being with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Never shy about giving her opinion, she also loved being the topic of a joke. She was tough, having survived an accident that required months of hospitalization and rehab, and insisted on walking at least a mile most days, until her most recent illness. We will all miss her, and her red velvet cake.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Knox Williams.
She is survived by her children, Alice Elkins (Gary) of Springfield, Missouri and David Williams (Susan) of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, grandchildren Kathy Metivier, Kurt Elkins, Scott Williams and Kyle Williams and their spouses, step-grandchildren Grant Triplett, Andrew Triplett and Anne Marshall and their families, seven great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
Visitation and Celebration of Life will be Friday, February 14, 2020 at Abundant Life Church, 304 SW Persels Road, Lee’s Summit, MO at 10:00 am, followed by 11:00 am service and a private burial.

Alice & family. Was so sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing! She was everything you wrote and more! I know you miss her but as you so wrote, in a much better place with our Heavenly Father! Take care and you will be in our prayers for a peaceful time! Jim & Brooksie Jennings
