Charlotte Yvonne Lounce was born July 29, 1963 to Ozell Newble and Earnestine Jones in Memphis, TN.
In the early 1970’s, her family moved to Kansas City, MO where she received most of her formal education and graduated from Dela Salle Education Center.
Charlotte was the life of the party and loved her family. She was a God believing woman and was a member of Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church. Charlotte worked various jobs and was a log time employee at Gate’s BBQ before her health failed her.
Charlotte was called home on June 1, 2021.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: son, Ernest Jones of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Cassandra Lounce of Kansas City, MO; daughter, Angel Lounce of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Lois Jones of Kansas City, MO and Marilyn Jones of Monroe, GA; eight grandchildren, Dillinger Lounce, Micayah Perkins, Shayna Lounce, Shelby Lounce, Frederick Sanders, Jr., Ashton Johnson, Kennidi Johnson, and Sanaa Jones all of Kansas City, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00am. To view the funeral service live, please click HERE.
