Bertha Samano-Flores

Bertha Samano-Flores, 69, of Independence, MO passed away February 20, 2022 at North Kansas City Hospital. Memorial services with a private viewing for immediate family only will be held at 9:30am, Friday, February 25, 2022 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, MO.

Bertha was born February 4, 1953 in Iguala, Mexico. Bertha was from a humble upbringing in a farmer’s family. She immigrated to Cuernavaca, Mexico in the 1970s and then to the U.S.A. in 2006. She loved to laugh and talk about food. She loved her family from the youngest to the oldest. Bertha was kind to everyone she met.

Bertha was preceded in death by: mother, Isabel Samano-Flores.

Survivors include: daughter, Patricia Cruz-Samano (Sabino Albarodo-Beltran); son, Jose Cruz- Samano (Christina Cuevas-Segura); son, Alejandro Cruz-Samano (Jennifer Cruz); son, Victor Cruz-Samano (Liliana Cruz); son, Hector Cruz-Samano (Carmen Hernandez); grandchildren, Karen, Jose, Oscar, Kevin, Daniel, Alex, Kimberly, Joseph, Ellie, Axel, Jimena, Andres, Victor, Alyn, Rocio, and Christopher.
