Niels (Jim) Jensen, 89 of Kansas City Missouri passed away March 17th 2022 at home. Graveside services will be held Thursday March 24th at 11:00am at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. Mr. Jensen was born March 1, 1933 in Kansas City, Kansas.
He worked for the Kansas City Water Department for 32 years as a heavy equipment mechanic. Jim was an Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of the American Legions. He enjoyed fishing and going to the movies.
He was preceded in death by his wife Earlene Jensen as well as his parents and sister.
Survivors include two sons Scott Jensen ( Lynda) and Russell Jensen (Laura); step-daughter Sally Schuler (Steve); step-son Stephen Turek (Diane); four grandchildren Denise (Rick), Ryan, Christopher (Bailey), and Wesley (Lydia); nine great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
