Anneliese Berg Yeomans

Anneliese Berg Yeomans, 87, of St. Louis, MO  (formerly Independence, MO) passed away April 30, 2022 at Missouri Baptist Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1:55pm, Friday, May 6, 2022 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral at 1:00pm.

Anneliese Berg Yeomans was born January 6 ,1935 in Standorf, Germany. Anneliese loved to Dance. She attended dances 3-4 times a week including at the VFW in Independence, MO, Vesper Hall Senior Center in Blue Springs, MO and other local venues. She loved German Waltz, 50’s and 60’s dance music. She was known to break into the Twist when hearing a good dance song (e.g, “Twist” by Chubby Checker) came over the radio.

She was preceded in death by: first husband, Raymond Ben Berg; second husband, Roy Eugene Yeomans; brothers: Hans Pohl, Walter Pohl, Manfred Pohl, Sister Waltraud Pohl; mother, Martha Harper (Aschrich) and father, Richard Pohl.

Survivors include: sister, Erika Carroll (Allen, TX); brother, Peter Pohl (Greenville, TX); son, Jerry Berg & wife Rosa (St Louis, MO); granddaughter, Elena Berg (WDC); grandsons, Eric Berg (Buffalo, NY) and William Berg (St Louis, MO).

    I will miss you sweet Lady. But, I know that you no longer have to suffer and that you are whole again. It’s been some time since you last danced, so I am sure that you will get right to it and teach the Angels how to line dance.

    I have known the beautiful Anneliese for more than 20 years! … when her son, Jerry , married my niece, Rosa.
    From all instances when we have met, there were many, I will remember her as an extremely elegant, super interesting and thoughtful Lady
    She will be missed

    My condolences and prayers goes out to Jerry and family.I have only got to spend a short time with Mrs.Anneliese as her caregiver such a beautiful lady and a smile on her face I will always remember.Rest In Heaven Love always.???
