Gene Milton McEntyre

Gene Milton McEntyre, 80, of Independence, MO, passed away on May 1, 2022 at home.

Gene was born on June 11, 1941 in Kansas City, MO. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. His passion was riding Harleys with his friends. He enjoyed his years of bowling and loved every minute he had watching the Nascar races on tv with his Grandkids and Great Grandkids. He retired from Ford Motor Company after 41 years of service.

Gene was preceded in death by his father, Albert McEntyre; mother, Vesta McEntyre (Grubbs); brother, Perry McEntyre; and sister, Wanda.

He is survived by his wife, Harriet McEntyre; daughters, Rhonda McEntyre-Lucas and Pamela McEntyre; four grandkids, Stephenie Silvey, Amanda Silvey, Michael Dunn, and Blake Silvey; and eight great grandkids.

    I’m sorry grandpa I wasn’t around as much but u will be truly missed I love you and I’m glad that to call you my grandpa you mad everyone smile and laugh once u pass away that’s when my heart drop losing the man who did everything for our family hurt really bad I love you rest in peice
