Janice Carolyn McIntosh Korchak

Janice Carolyn McIntosh Korchak was simple and direct, generally sweet but with refreshing acidity just like the McIntosh Red. Mrs. K went on up to Heaven Tuesday, July 5, 2022 tired of waiting to see hubby Tom. She was just shy of 100. She is leaving behind loving family and friends. Janice had four children, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. They were her heart. Janice went out a loyal Royals, Chiefs, and KU’s National Champion Jayhawks fan! She took great joy in her beautiful home in Countryside, surrounded by her lush gardens for over sixty years. She was a master gardener! Fare thee well mama…we love you!

Mrs KK!! Tom would exclaim when he had an announcement to make. Homemade ice cream, trips to the apple orchard, driving out to see the horses, monkeys in trees, Christmas carols, Sunday brunch. A lifetime of memories. A lifetime of love. Rest in peace Mrs KK. XXXOOO

What a wonderful aunt Janice was for my brothers and me! We loved our times at your house, whiffle ball in the back yard, going to the A’s games with Scott and the uncles, touch football at Thanksgiving, music, loud political “discussions” … so much laughter and wonderful times. God bless you Aunt Janice and the K sisters.
