Daryl Ray McRay, 59, of Independence, Missouri passed away August 31, 2022.
Daryl was born September 23, 1962 in Parsons, KS and moved to various towns as a child. He then moved to Independence, MO and went back to Parsons, KS before returning to Independence, MO. He had a love for motorcycles and cars. Daryl enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: mother, Esther (McRay) Ernst; father, Willis McRay; grandparents, Jesse and Edith McRay; grandparents, Pete and Jessie Miles who was a big part of Daryl and his siblings life at a young age; brother, Douglas Lee McRay; and brother, Kevin McRay.
Survivors include: sons, Keaton Ray McRay and Kalen Ray McRay; brother, Mark (Angela) McRay; sister, Debby (Steve) Buske; lifelong friend, Daryl McGill; a host of grandchildren and nieces and nephews; and friend, Bobbie Stacker.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Debby Buske to help with the costs of the funeral.
Debbie, I am so very sorry you lost another brother. Life certainly isn’t fair, with some being made to sacrifice so much. You have had so many challenges and death given to you. I guess that means you are incredibly strong, since God only gives what we can bear.
