Betty Lou Lackey, 86, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri passed away December 22, 2022 at Wilshire at Lakewood. She was born August 16, 1936 in Larned, Kansas to Emery and Mary Castor. Betty attended Rosedale High School. In 1951, Betty married Cadamus Lackey and they shared 66 years together before he passed away. Betty spent the last 17 years at Wilshire at Lakewood Nursing Home in Lee’s Summit.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Cad; and brother Gary Castor. Survivors include her five children Paul Lackey, Donna Cunningham, Marcella Bealmear, Steven Lackey, and Robert Lackey; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren, along with one sister, Wanda Haynes.
Burial will take place at a later date in Galatia Cemetery in Norfork, Arkansas.
