Valerie Hatten

Valerie Hatten, 70, of Kansas City, Missouri, sadly left us on January 4, 2023.

Valerie worked for thirty plus years, using her many different skills throughout the mortgage industry.

Valerie was preceded in death by the love of her life, husband of 22 years David Hatten, her father, Richard Moore, her mother Geraldine Moore. She is survived by her sister Vickie Brown, as well as her daughter’s Michelle (Jason) Valentine and Megan (Wynn) Hill. Valerie had 8 grandchildren Brett (Becka), Katlyn, Kiptyn, Marissa, Elijuia, Owynn, Wyndi and Ashlynn. There were also 3 great grandchildren Gunner, Gatlin and Atticus. Nephews Derek, Alex and Spencer Brown.

The family will be having a Celebration of Life on February 4, 2023, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Boulevard, Raytown Missouri from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Come celebrate Val’s life and share stories if you wish.

    Val was my customer in the mortgage business and Facebook friend. Such a kind lady. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. My sympathies to her family.

    RIP Val! I know you’re with Dave and that’s makes me happy for you. When you said you’re getting ready to go be with him, I wasn’t planning on it being so soon! I know you, Dave and Rusty will be playing poker, I hope you win! I’ll yell Go Chiefs extra loud for you my friend! Prayers for all the family!

    Val was a good one !

    I was fortunate to work with her for many years at RMIC and she was GREAT – a real professional . She had a special group of folks working with her and they made it happen ! We had a lot of fun as well ?

    I am sure her family and friends will miss her but hopefully wonderful memories will help them with their lost !
