William Edsel Morris AKA: Bill, age 95, of Grain Valley, Missouri, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023.
Service will be held at a later date.
William was born May 13, 1927 in Blue Springs, Missouri, a son of Floyd and Julia Morris Morris. He was a 6th generation resident of Blue Springs, Missouri who quit High School to join the US Navy and serve aboard the USS Ranger Aircraft Carrier. After the war, he married Margaret “Peggy” Brownfield and was by her side for 50 years of marriage.
He is survived by his wife Margaret Jane Morris of Grain Valley, MO; four children, three stepchildren, 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren
He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Julia Morris, and one daughter, Susan Kay McCarthy of Fort Worth, TX.
