I lost a good friend when Charlie and Betty left Coffeyville but I continued to research our common Burris ancestry. I never had the chance to tell him but I traced our Burris line back to the Governor of Syria, Senator Marcus Ulpius (29AD-98AD), father of the Roman Emperor Trajan. If you’d like to have that information, let me know. So sorry for your loss. Prayers for the family. I’ll make sure the remaining members of the old Genealogical Society are aware of Charlie’s passing.
