Roma Von Kerns, 81, of Columbia, MO, passed away on August 18, 2023. She was born on June 29, 1942, in Dodge City, KS, to Ralph and Dorothy Cole.
Roma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and caregiver. She dedicated her life to nurturing her family and providing them with love and support. Her gentle and kind nature touched the lives of many.
Roma is survived by her devoted spouse, Robert Kerns, her son Rick Kerns, her granddaughter Riley Kerns, and her grandsons Carter and Austin Kerns. She was preceded in death by her daughter Resa Kerns, as well as her parents Ralph and Dorothy Cole.
Roma was a member of Broadway Christian Church in Columbia, MO, where she found solace and spiritual guidance. She cherished her faith and found comfort in her religious community.
There will be no public memorial services planned to honor Roma’s life. However, those who wish to honor her memory can dedicate donations in her name to Caring Hearts and Hands of Columbia (https://caringheartandhands.org).
Roma’s warm presence and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of compassion and selflessness that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
