Charles Ross Elam, 85, of Lone Jack, MO passed away October 15, 2023 at Lee’s Summit Medical Center from Lung cancer. Visitation will be held from 10:00am-12:00pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. Burial will follow visitation at Brooking Cemetery, Raytown, MO.
Charles was born January 12, 1938 in Green Mountain, MO. Early in his career, he worked for Bell construction and later he retired after 24 years working at Kansas City tow lot. Charles liked to hunt, fish and boat. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews and sons doing various activities such as fishing, riding and driving.
Survivors include: wife, Joyce; sons, Larry (Lola), Steve and Jim (Dawn); five grands, Rhonda, Jesse, C.J. (Michael) Fitzhugh and Christine (Byron) Watts; and five great-grandchildren.
