Joyce Ann Finley

Joyce Ann Finley, 76, of Rocheport Missouri, passed away on November 28th, 2023 at University Hospital in Columbia, MO surrounded by several of her loved ones. Joyce was born on November 15th, 1947 in Columbia, MO to Betty and Jesse Barnes.

Joyce loved everyone she met, she worked most of her life as a server, most recently at Cracker Barrel, retiring after 25 years of service and had many regular customers that would come in and request her to be their waitress. To know her was to love her. She was the kind of person you knew you could always count on, for honesty and for the shirt off her back if you needed it.

She was preceded in death by her Mother (Betty Barnes Rouse), her Father (Jesse Barnes), her brother (Franklin Lee Barnes) and her Sister (Virginia Howard)

Joyce is survived by the love of her life, Pat Finley of Columbia, whom she married in 2012. Three children, Missy Marlett (Tim Jones) of Columbia, Rusty (Holly) Greenlaw of Boonville, and Kenny (Misty) Eads of New Franklin, Seven grandchildren Brittany (Jordan) Folkman or Indianapolis, Stephi (James) of Kansas City, Ryan (Mallorie) Triebsch of Rocheport, Rusty (Leslie) Greenlaw of Moberly, Chelsea Neal of Columbia, Keaton Eads of New Franklin, Emersyn Eads of New Franklin and 16 great grandchildren. She is also survived by 3 sisters, Sue Grooms of Columbia, MO, Martha (Edward) Cook of Columbia, MO, and Anna (Walt) Hampton of New Franklin, MO. 3 step-children Mechelle (Jay) Fashing of Mexico Missouri, Vanessa (Chris) Sellers of Hendersonville, TN, and Ryan (Beth) Finley of Des Moines, Iowa. Several cousins and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
