Jeffrey Michael Mair died accidently on November 12, at the age of 35 years and 40 days. He is survived by Laura Mair (wife, 33), LiaNavi Mair (daughter, 3), three amazing stepchildren, and his parents.
Jeff was born October 3,1988, to parents Michael Mair and Charlotte (Kit) Mair.
He lived in Shawnee, Kansas and graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest High School. He was on many swim teams, including Kansas City Blazers, Shawnee Sharks, and swam state for his high school team. He played on the Northwest tennis team. Jeff was active in Boy Scouts, obtaining the rank of Eagle Scout. Jeff attended K-State and was a member of Phi Delta Theta.
Jeff and Laura met at work and fell in love. He loved Laura’s family. Jeffrey and Laura got married at a beautiful ceremony on June 25, 2022, at the Arts and Heritage Center in Overland Park, Kansas.
Most of Jeff’s career was as a mortgage lender and working in solar sales. Earning top sales team, he and Laura were honored on a trip to the Dominican Republic early this year. At Volta Solar, Jeff started developing a team of salespeople, now headed by his wife Laura, and still in force today. He also did web development specializing in lead gen platforms.
Jeff loved swimming, being by the ocean, and travel. He also enjoyed snowboarding, golf, and tennis. He loved his family, the many animals we had, and was a loyal friend.

Kit and all of your family,
I weep with you, the passing of your dear son. I have no words to ease the pain. Only time will put some distance on your loss and even then, never even close to completely. I am so glad you have his child to dote even more on through the years. You will be him to her. You will be the wonderful Kit Mair smile I see in your son’s picture.
We lost our son suddenly a few years back. Don’t hesitate to call me if you ever need a listening ear. Love you, dear Jewell sister. Sue
