Our beloved husband, father, brother, step-father, and friend passed away on January 8, 2024. Jack was born on February 3, 1946 to the late Vivian and Jack Martin. He was one of four children.
Jack is preceded in death by his father and mother; son, Jack Jr, daughter, Kara; step-daughter, Sharlene; and two sisters, Linda and Martha. He leaves to mourn him his wife, Patricia Martin of Kansas City, sister Joy and Dan Beck of Climax Springs, daughter Jacquelyn and George Rogacki of Mountain Home Arkansas, Son Gregg German of Alton Missouri, Tracy Brown of Kansas City; Robert Williams of St. Joe; Tina Duffy of Texas; Donnie and Becky of Liberty, MO.
Jack and Patricia were married in Las Vegas in June 2000. Jack loved his family and friends. He spent his time fishing, working on power tools, sharpening blades on lawn mowers for the neighbors, playing with his grandchildren, and sitting on the porch with his wife for quiet time. Jack did home remodeling for 44 years. After he got married, he trained his wife how to do this job. He enjoyed working with her. That was the light of his life.
A memorial service for Jack will be held at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, MO on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at 2pm.
