Patrick (Pat) N. Love, 83, also known as Mr. Pat and Pappy, passed away on January 12, 2024, at St. Mary’s Hospital, Blue Springs, Missouri, surrounded by his loving wife and children.
Pat was born in Kansas City, Missouri on November 16, 1940. He was the youngest of 4 boys born to Louis & Florence Love.
Pat’s life revolved around participating in and watching his kids and grandkids play sports. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Patricia Love; children, Jay (Jacquie) Love and Kelly (Rob) Combs; grandchildren, Tyler (Kaylee) Cypret, Tate (Kendall) Cypret, Logan Love, Peyton Love, Jake (Rhiannon) Mann, Connor Boisen, Kyle (Lindsey) Boisen, Christina Combs; great grandchildren, Kylan Cypret, Easton Cypret, Zoe Mann, Jacob Mann, Harper Kerns, June Kugler; brother, Bill (Roxy) Love; and numerous nieces and nephews and many friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents Louis & Florence Love, and brothers, Raymond Love and Stanley Love.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133 on Tuesday, January 23rd between 5pm – 7pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to KC Pet Project Donate Here or 7077 Elmwood Ave, Kansas City, MO 64132.

I did not know Pat that many years, (we met at dinner once a month with his old softball buddies). He was always a hoot and fun to talk to. He had a unique way of looking at life and was definitely one of a kind. I will miss him.
Mr. PAT, Was a great Husband. Father and friend.
