Cynthia “Cindy” Elaine Ratte, age 67, of Warrensburg, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on February 2, 2026. She was born on July 4, 1958, in Jefferson City, Missouri. Cindy was raised in both Jefferson City and Alameda, California, where she graduated from Alameda High School. Following high school, Cindy honorably served her country as a member of the United States Air Force. Her time in the service was a testament to her dedication and spirit before she transitioned into her most cherished role as devoted wife and mother.
A woman of kindness and deep faith, Cindy was a member of the Northside Christian Church in Warrensburg, where she found community, friends and purpose. She was a person of immense creativity. Whether she was sewing, scrapbooking or crafting wreaths for friends and family, her hands were always busy creating beauty for others to enjoy. Above all else, Cindy’s greatest joy was her family and friends. She was a woman who believed in the power of a handmade gift and the warmth of a close-knit home. Her favorite moments were spent spoiling her granddaughter, who was truly the light of her life.
Cindy is survived by the love of her life and husband of 35 years, Keefe Ratte; her daughter, Theresa Wallace (Lance) of San Leandro, CA; two sons, Adam Ratte of Park City, UT and Kevin Ratte of Farmington, MO; one brother, Leslie Schnieder of Holts Summit, MO; one sister, Vicki Romero (Mike) of Jefferson City; one granddaughter, Brooke Wallace; her mother, Mary Ann Cranmer of Jefferson City, MO and her step mother, Sandy Schnieder of San Francisco, CA.
She was preceded in death by her father, Willard Schnieder. She will also be deeply missed by several aunts and extended family members as well as many dear friends.
A service to celebrate Cindy’s life will be held at a later date
Our time getting to know each other was brief but I will catch you on the other side and give you one of my hugs you loved so much.
Sending lots of hugs and love to all of Cindy’s family and friends. She was a joy to be around, and spread kindness and laughter wherever she went. It was an honor to be her friend and sister-in-Christ; her love of her Savior is an inspiration to all of us. You will be missed so very much🤍
To The Family,
Please Accept My Heartfelt Condolences. Truly the loss of a precious loved one is most difficult. Please find comfort in the promise our most loving Heavenly Father Jehovah God gives us in Revelation 21:4″And He will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more; neither will mourning; nor outcry; nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” Yes, We can look forward to a time soon to come when all suffering including death will be done away with forever. Cindy was a special ladie to me. We became friends through our women’s Bible Study at Northside Christian Church and her teaching me how to can food was a highlite for me. She loved her family and always wanted to give to so many. I will miss our talks. We will miss her but will see her again. She was so loved.
