I know the rest of your lives have changed. the feeling of empty, seems to be the only thing that consumes you. I know thinking about God and his Blessings is not what you have in your mind. But God knows you and your pain. I pray you find pease in your Faith. I pray that you let God carry you, lean on him when you need answers. Sometimes the answer is simply move forward.
