Herbert Generaux

Herbert Lee Generaux, 72, of Oak Grove, Missouri passed away September 10, 2018. Memorial services will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at First Baptist Church, 131 S Hudson St, Buckner, MO 64016.Mr. Generaux was born December 25, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri. Herbert was a lifelong Kansas City resident. He worked at Fairyland Amusement Park until it closed in 1977. Herbert then worked at Raytown Highschool as a janitor for 23 years. He enjoyed camping and fishing. Herbert loved his wife of 45 years and his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Herbert and Annie Generaux, mother-in-law and father-in-law Eleanora and Robert Nelson, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marian Generaux and Gary Allen Nelson. Survivors include wife Cherrlyn Generaux, brother Charles Generaux, daughter Beverly (Richard) Thibault, son Robert (Melissa) Generaux, son Paul (Theresa) Generaux, 33 grandchildren and great grandchildren with two on the way, and multiple aunts, uncles, and cousins.
