Robert L. Chace (Bob) of Kansas City, Missouri passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018. A visitation will be held from 5:00PM – 6:00PM, Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd Raytown, Missouri 64133, with a memorial service to follow beginning at 6:00PM. Bob was born October 14, 1942 at Baptist Trinity Lutheran Hospital in Kansas City, MO.
Robert attended Raytown High School, lived the majority of his life in the Raytown area, and spent over 25 years as a dedicated and hard-working employee of General Motors at the Leeds production plant.
A Sachem in the tribe of Mic-O-Say (named “Rolling Echo”), Bob dedicated many years to the Boy Scouts of America organization, counseling Scouters through the God and Country Program and serving on Eagle Boards of Review. An avid wood carver, Bob was especially proud of his contributions to the creation and maintenance of the many totem poles at the H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation in Osceola, MO.
He was proceeded in death by his father, Floyd and Mother, Shirley (Nelson). He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Claudia, and his three children, Stephen (Steve) of Lee’s Summit, Paul of Pleasant Hill, Jennifer (Doyle) of Raymore, sister Barbara (Charlton) of Lincolnshire, IL, and eleven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for Tribute Contributions through The Parkinson Foundation of the Heartland.
