Al Gregston

Albert “Al” Wayne Gregston, 73, Independence, MO, passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2010. Visitation will be held on Mon, 8/23, 6– 8PM, and a Memorial Service will be held on Tue, 8/24, 10AM Both visitation and memorial service will be held at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church, 4725 Lakewood Way, Lee’s Summit, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a memorial fund: Scott Gregston/Al Gregston, Metcalf Bank, 639 NE Woods Chapel Road, Lee’s Summit, MO 64064. Al was born May 20, 1937, in Duncan, OK, to King and Iva Gregston. In 1963, he married Judy Lewis. Al retired from General Motors (Fairfax District – Kansas City, KS) after 34 years. Al is survived by; wife, Judy Lewis Gregston, originally from Brook field, MO; son, Scott (Kate), Lee’s Sum – mit, MO; daughter, Cyndi Sloan (Brian), Grain Valley MO; son, Mark (Sandi), Parker, CO; son, Earl D’Alessandro (Myong Hee), Oklahoma City, OK. Al had 12 loving grandchildren: Taylor, Connor, Camryn, Rylie, Jordan, Lake, Brek, Emily, Meghan, Kelsie, Jennifer and Stephanie. He is also survived by brothers, Weldon (Glenda), Grain Valley, MO and Robert Roff, Enid, OK. Al is also survived by many relatives in TX and OK.
