Alice Faye (Baum) Brandkamp

Alice Faye (Baum) Brandkamp , 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 10 at Bluegrass Terrace Assisted Living in Ashland, Missouri.

Alice was born February 2, 1939, in Greenville, Missouri to Hubert and Elvie Baum. She graduated from Eureka High School. In 1965 she married Charles Lee Brandkamp, Sr. Alice spent many years working for Von Weise Gear Company and also kept the books for the family business, Pacific Woodworking. Later in life Alice enjoyed working for home healthcare in the Fulton, Missouri area. She was a part of the Eastern Star in Pacific, Missouri. She also enjoyed crafting and traveled around to many local festivals to sell her wares. Alice enjoyed giving back to her community by line dancing with the Rock and Rollers at senior centers, nursing homes, and other establishments. Alice was often described as a “character” and knew how to make people laugh with her dry wit.

Alice is survived by her children Melinda Roe, Columbia, Missouri and Charles Lee Brandkamp, Jr, “Butch,” of Pacific, Missouri; her grandchildren Britton Roe of Columbia, Missouri, Jarad Brandkamp of Beaufort, Missouri, Amy Voss of Sullivan, Missouri, and Erika Brandkamp of Collinsville, Illinois; her great grandchildren Tessa Voss, Callie Voss, Elery Brandkamp, JT Brandkamp, Kingston Ahart, Christian Ahart, and Kamren Ahart; one brother, Glenn Baum, and other special extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents Hubert and Elvie Baum, her spouse Charles Brandkamp, Sr., and her sister Debbie Patrick, and their beloved pets Snoopy and Peaches.

Alice gave her body to the University and requested no funeral service. She was greatly loved by her family and friends. She will be greatly missed.
