Alice Kohrs

Alice Kohrs, 79, Raytown, MO passed away May 19, 2010 at Cedar Valley Nursing Home. A mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 AM Monday, May 24, at St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church, 9020 E. 51^st Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64133. Visitation will be held from 3-5 PM Sunday May 23, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133, with a prayer service at 4:30. Alice was born August 31, 1930 In St. Libory, IL to Henry and Theresia Jansen. She moved to the Kansas City area in 1963. She was a member of St. Bernadette’s Catholic Church. She was preceded in Death by her husband Ralph E. Kohrs, her parents, sisters Henrietta Jansen and Delores Ripperda, and a brother David Jansen. Alice is survived by her 2 children, Beth Osborn (Glen) of Kansas City, MO, and Kris Kohrs (Jenni) of Belton, MO, 6 brothers; Ralph Jansen, Robert Jansen, Francis Jansen, Victor Jansen, Donald Jansen, James Jansen, a sister Ileen Detmer, 7 grandchildren; Melanie, Andrew, Rachell, Sarah, Johnathon, Ashley and Zachary, and a great- granddaughter Amiyah. Also surviving Alice are 4 sister-in-laws; Delores Lamping, Marlene Robben, Martha Cornell, and Mildred Johnson, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
