Alvin “Al” Brown

Alvin Lloyd Brown, born 10/7/1932 to 11/1/21, was a successful entrepreneur who was strong and determined to succeed and excel in life. He was very hardworking, dependable, a risk-taker, caring and very generous in helping people out financially when he could. Al enjoyed socializing with friends and family. He was often the winner of countless card games, loved to play golf, and enjoyed attending jazz music festivals with the RV Club. Al was so proud of his accomplishments and the toys (such as a boat, RV, and living in a country club community) that he was able to have as a result of his very hard work and dedication throughout his life. Al was very honored and proud that he was one of the youngest sergeant first-class soldiers in the Army where he served for two years in Korea. Upon his return, he married Alice Curry in 1955 and they had two children, Ed and Gail. After 43 years of marriage and her passing after a long battle with cancer, he married life-long friend, Clara Martin. They were married for 22 years until his death. He is survived by his wife, Clara, 2 children and 4 step-children, 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren. Al will be so missed by everyone, but we are comforted to know that he is in Heaven enjoying endless rounds of golf and card games with family and friends who are there before him.
