Amoron Aholelei Tonga, passed away in Independence, Missouri on April 27, 2018 at the age of 21 years old.
He is survived by his mother Suliana Tonga, grandfather Paul Tonga, and son Kash Tonga. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Tupou Tonga.
Amoron was born on October 16, 1996 in Kansas City, Missouri. He loved music and enjoyed playing the piano.
He was well-liked, had many friends and always had an infectious smile and charm. He graduated from Fort Osage High and recently became an MMA Fighter.
Funeral services will be at 11:00am Thursday, May 3, 2018 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 705 W. Walnut, Independence, MO 64050. Interment following at Woodlawn Cemetery.
The family expresses appreciation to the many medical providers and caregivers who assisted in his care. Special thanks to Centerpoint Hospital and Midwest Transplant Network who cared for Amoron with much love, compassion and charity.
I am sorry for your families loss he truly was a great kid with a bright future. He will be missed by many. R.I.P. Amron.

I am so, so sorry for your loss, Tonga family. Amoron was a great kid. I remember his infectious smile from middle school and how he was always surrounded by friends. He will be greatly missed. Rest in Peace in Paradise, Amoron.

We are saddened by the passing of Amoron. He is remember by many teachers who taught at Sycamore Hills Elementary when he attended there.
