Andrew “Andy” Jordan Owens, 62 of Independence, MO. passed away March 3, 2025 at his home surrounded by loved ones. Mr. Owens was born January 6,1963 in Independence, MO.
Andy was all about fishing, shooting and hunting. He loved being with his kids, grand babies and friends.
Andy is preceded in death by his Mother (Tessie Owens), his father (Donald Owens) and his beloved wife (Sally Owens).
Andy is survived by his children, Thomas J. Owens, Chris D. E. Owens, Samantha C Owens, Mary E Owens and Truman A Owens; grandchildren, siblings and friends.
Such a gentleman. Such a joker. I miss him much.
Andy had a deep love for his family and friends. His laughter, his story-telling, and his delightfulness at fishing and hunting opportunities made his personality shine. He worked and hunted hard to provide for his family. He tried very hard to be a decent person and always, always was a champion for babies and all little ones. As a sibling, I have many fond memories and I can see him through the ages being Andy. Just wonderful Andy
