Angela Gwen Greenwalt, 50, of Kansas City, Missouri received her wings on January 16, 2020.
Angela was born September 19,1969 to Kenneth and Beth Greenwalt (Stoskopf) in Marshall, Minnesota. Angela lived in St. Cloud, St. Paul, and Virginia, MN. Then she lived in Omaha, NE, Kansas City, MO, Las Vegas, NV and Duluth, MN.
Angela graduated from Millard South High School in Omaha in 1988. She then received her B.A. in Hospitality in 1996.
Angela loved to bake, especially sweet things to bring to work. She was a beautiful and loving person who always had a kind word for friends and strangers. Her favorite times of the year were Spring when the snow would melt and the tulips would appear. She especially enjoyed the Fall with the wonderful colors, the Apple Festival in Bayfield, WI. and her memorable pumpkin carving parties. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Angela is survived by her daughter, Hannah of Scottsdale, AZ; parents, Ken and Mary Greenwalt of Payson, AZ/Duluth, MN; her mother, Beth Stoskopf of Kansas City, MO; sister, Leah (Randy) Gebel of St. Stephen, MN; brother, Kelly of Duluth, MN; step-sister, Jennifer Freeman of Scottsdale, AZ; nieces, Ella, JoAnna, Erin, Roxanne; and nephew, Julian.
A memorial service will be held on January 25th at 2:00 PM at Heartland Cremation Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, Mo 64133.
A small memorial gathering will also be held in Duluth MN at a later date. If interested please leave your contact information on Angela’s memorial page.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.

Angela for the time we spent together. You were my great friend. I will miss your laughter that cute smile and all the time we enjoyed doing things together. Your last week before God decided you were coming to him. I was so sad to lose such a beautiful friend as you. And you will always be in my heart and thoughts. I Know how you suffered toward the end. And how I missed being able to tell you goodbye. But I know I will see you again and know you were loved by all of your friends family you are missed .
Angela was a beautiful girl with a beautiful smile. Being a neighbor of her Mom’s I saw her many times over the years spending many joyous occasions together with her daughter Hannah Beth. She worked had and attended Penn Valley college and graduated from Webster University in KCMO. The families loss is Heavens gain. Prayers to her and all who knew and loved her.
My husband and I were privileged enough to see Angela two weeks before she passed. She was a beautiful, smart young woman. She passed too young. She will me missed and long remembered. Rest In Peace, Angela

I have the fondest memories from so many childhood years with Angela. It is crushing to know she left us so early. My heart is with her family. And, I would like to celebrate her life with you in Duluth later this year.
I am so sorry to hear of Angela’s passing. She was a “tough north sider” when we went to school together in Virginia. Angela was such a “light” for others – always upbeat and genuinely kind. I have many fond memories of her, and I will always remember her sweet smile.

To my sweet niece Angela, I was so sorry to hear of your passing. Although I hadn’t seen you for a very long time, you will forever be in my thoughts and prayers! With love from Aunt Cathy(Chase) Stoskopf Rodriguez.
I am so sorry Angela had to leave us, but she is in a better place. I miss her even though I only knew her a short time and only through phone conversations. I was introduced to her and her mother, Beth, by my son, Mike’s friendship with Angela. Beth is now my phone friend. I wish I could call and talk one more time to Angela and tell her I miss her, I love her, and I’ll see her again someday.
I am sorry for Beth and others of Angela’s family that they lost her at such a young age. May each of you find peace knowing she is in a better place and knowing one day you will meet again. I have visited with Beth the last couple of years and learned of her life’s journey through her. May she also find peace and time to play with the angels.

So sorry to hear about Angela’s passing Beth, I know it’s hard to lose a child I have lost two myself.
Just hang in there God will help you thought it , don’t worry about her, sounds like she has a lot of
family and friends to help her and tell you get there. I know Jim Jacob her stepfather will watch over

I am so sorry and sad to hear of Angela’s passing. My sincere condolences to her family and especially her daughter Hannah. I was her UPS guy for a few years in Duluth and looked forward to seeing her beautiful smile and chat each morning. She was a beautiful and kind soul. Will be missed. So sad.
