Angela Sue Tierney, 41, of Raytown, Mo., passed away October 28, 2017 at her home. Daughter of Timothy and Karen (Hamilton) Tierney was born on September 5, 1976 in Kansas City, Mo. She graduated Raytown High School in 1995. Angela enjoyed country music, shopping, making crafts and reading. But, most of all spending time with her family. She spent her working career in the medical records office at both Park Lane and Independence Regional. Having been born with Arnold Chiari Malformation and a cleft pallet she endured many surgeries. Although, with all of the hardships she was given she overcame and adapted. She was amazingly resilient! Angela was a very kind and caring person. She would do anything for anyone if she were able to. Angela loved being “Auntie” and spoiling her niece and nephew. (Dogs Bo and JJ too) She will be missed by many.
Survivors include parents Timothy and Karen Tierney of the home; sister Nicole Swartz (Justin) of Blue Springs, Mo., her niece Hope Swartz and nephew Seth Swartz. Dogs Bo and JJ. Angela was a beloved sister-in-law, niece, cousin and friend to many. Her maternal grandparents Archie and Phyllis Hamilton, paternal grandparents Cletus and Katheryn Tierney, precede her in death. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Chiari Fund Home www.chiarifund.org
A visitation will be held 2-3 PM on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 with a memorial service to follow at 3 PM at Heartland, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd., Raytown, Mo 64133.

I will miss my precious niece we talked often on face book sometimes1hour I loved hear her talk about the books she read I also liked the same books.
She was so kind and she told me if I had a problem to tell her and she would pray for me, I love her so much its hard to take she was my sweet little angel They named her right….. ( Angela) the angel is in her name.
