Angelica Elsa Villafuerte, age 96, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on August 9th, 2019 at 9:10am under the loving care of the Little Sisters of the Poor and Catholic Community Hospice. A Rosary, Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 10:30 at the Chapel of Little Sisters of the Poor, located at 8745 James A Reed Rd, Kansas City, MO, 64138.

Angelica Elsa Villafuerte was born on May 28th, 1923 in Chiquimula, Guatemala. Angelica spent her career working for the Catholic Church and taking care of children and animals in our community. Angelica was preceded in death by her sister Gloria Betancourt and her youngest son, Carlos Flores. Angelica is survived by her two sons, Gustavo and Manuel Flores, along with many grandchildren.

    Lamento,la pérdida de una gran mujer tuve el honor de conocer a esta extraordinaria persona y con ella y servirle acá en Guatemala la he tenido en gran estima ya que mi familia y yo la conocimos y tuve la oportunidad de servirle. Alice López
