Anthony “Tony” Michael Wright, born September 28, 1971, in Harrisonville, Missouri, passed away at his home on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. He was the son of the late Dr. William Wright and Leslie Smith.
Tony was known for his kindness, empathy, and eagerness to help others. Tony was most proud of his service to Howard County as a Deputy Sheriff, the City of Boonville as a member of the police department, and a member of Cooper County Volunteer Fire Department.
He is preceded in death by his father Bill, stepmother Terri, grandparents Leslie and Minnie Lee Smith.
Tony is survived by his loving mother Leslie; his sister Lisa Wright, and nephew Andrew Rutledge.
A celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Heartland Cremation and Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd. Raytown MO. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM and continue until the time of celebration at 11:00 AM
Tony’s memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends forever.
Tony had such a good soul and a sweet nature. His cats Bucky and Baby were his “children” and he loved them with all his heart. All of us who knew him and loved him will miss him all our days.
Toy was a real cool guy I remember him alway wanted together play foot ball with his friends and me and knowing ihave a hand cop he still wanted be a friend yes he will be missed thanks for every thing and making time for me toy
