Arlene Churchill Bice, 87, passed peacefully on Feb. 11, 2014, at home, her loving family by her side. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Robert Bice, her four children, Greg, Michele, Robert II & Patricia, seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Born in Cedar Rapids, IA she moved to Kansas City, worked for Fisher Body/General Motors where she met her future husband. She was a loving, caring wife and mother and instilled in her children patience, hard work and determination. In her early 70’s she received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Western Michigan State University. She enjoyed ballroom dancing & spending time with her grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sat. Feb. 15 from 1-3 PM at 624 NW Cortland Drive, Blue Springs, MO 64015. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the American Liver Foundation.
