Arthur D. Stender, 79, of Columbia, passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017 at The Bluffs in Columbia. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am, Tuesday September 12, 2017 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 616 Jackson St., Columbia, MO 65203. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Survivors include three daughters: Nova Stender, April Lanpher, and Tina Fisher; one brother, Jerry Stender; 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.

    Nova, Tina and April – So sorry to hear about Danny. There is nothing to replace the loss of a parent. They are the ones that molded you into what you became today. You had wonderful parents as all three of you are wonderful ladies and Danny would been so proud of all of you. Im sure he will be missed. God Bless all of you at this time.
