Audrianna Louise Putt

Audrianna “Audrey ‘Lou’ Who” Louise Putt, 12, of Columbia, MO departed this world on March 17, 2024 at University of Missouri Hospital.

Audrey was born on January 23, 2012 in Jefferson City, MO. She grew up in mostly small town central Missouri until planting roots in Columbia, MO in March of 2020, where she was most recently about to complete her 6th Grade year. Audrey loved any outdoor activity, especially being out on the farm, and anything physical to put her energy into. She wanted to be a gymnast from the day she learned what one was, and she was able to explore that journey starting in the Spring of 2021 through the Summer of 2023 as a competitive gymnast, where she medaled many times. Audrey also loved horror movies, hoodies, fake nails, makeup, and music. A music device and a set of headphones would accompany Audrey anywhere, doing anything, when it was possible. She also wanted to try her hand at playing Violin once the next school year started. Audrey always loved spending nights staying up late with her mom bingeing horror films: particularly the Scream movies. She loved it even more than making fun of her mom for crying at all the sad parts in movies, and jumping out to scare her at every opportunity. Above all else, Audrey loved being a sister, and a best friend – though she was a friend to all, as she never met a stranger and she had love for humanity like no other. If there was one thing you remembered about meeting Audrey, or even just seeing her, it was that she’d do anything to make you smile and laugh – and she was the best at that. Her laugh was the most infectious, and her smile could turn any bad day right around. Audrey was, for lack of a better word, extraordinary. She had a new dream every day, and the heart and stubbornness to achieve them all. Audrey was the brightest light in the lives of so many, and there will forever be a void in this world with her absence.

Audrey is survived by her mom and dad, Rebeka & Dustin Stevens; her father, Alexander Putt; her step-sisters Lillian (13) & Natalie (10) Stevens, and her baby sister Parker Stevens (3); her half-brother Elijah Koetters; her grandma, Bonnie Brandt; her many aunts, uncles, & cousins: John, Krystle, Connor, & Clara Smith; Matt, Chelsea, Addisyn, Kynlee, Mylee, Paisley, & Beckham Smith; Christopher Brandt & Claire Hemphill; Mikalah & Alex Lauberth; Aaron Brandt; Katie Brandt & Tyler Lopez; Claire Brandt; Tyler Brandt; & Dawson Brandt; her best friend, Audrey Dunlop; and numerous other extended family members, with special mention to her chosen family: her Titi, Ariele Verry; her Aunt Leah & Uncle Caleb Rosenstengel & Carter; and her Kiki, Caley Baumgartner; Danielle Dunlop & Susan Huang; and the MUPD family – as well as all other members of the first-responder and healthcare families.

Audrey was preceded in death by her Great Grandfather & Great Grandmother Howard & Mildred Sallin, and Grandpa Gerald “Gary” Brandt (who passed on January 15, 2024).

In honor of Audrey’s humanity, Audrey’s parents opted for her to be an organ donor to give the gift of life to many and live on through others.

A celebration of life will be held for Audrey – please reach out to Audrey’s mom, Rebeka Stevens, for details.

In lieu of flowers, please consider registering as an organ donor and/or contributing to the Venmo of Rebeka Stevens for the celebration of life and memorial items.

I didn’t know Audrey, but my daughter is her half sister (same bio dad), and we both cried when we found out the news. We have been praying for your family ever since and will continue to do so.
