Barb Baldwin

Barb Baldwin was born on May 4, 1948, in DeWitt, Missouri, to Gordon and Nedra Heishman. She passed away on September 16, 2026, surrounded by her loving family, with those she loved holding her hand.

Barb was united in marriage to Joseph Baldwin in Marshall, Missouri.

Barb was a simple woman who found happiness in life’s little moments. She loved traveling with her church, making memories and enjoying the company of those around her. As she grew older, she looked forward to lunch dates with her friends, where they would share stories, laughter, and good conversation. She also enjoyed spending time at the community center, playing cards and bingo.

Barb had a special love for Hallmark movies and a good, wholesome story. She enjoyed the kind of stories filled with love, family, and happy endings. Whether she was watching a favorite movie, sharing a meal with friends, or enjoying a game of bingo, Barb appreciated the simple pleasures that made life special.

Above all else, Barb loved her family. She didn’t need grand adventures or fancy things to find happiness. The love of her family, the friendships she made, and the memories they shared were what mattered most to her.

Barb is survived by her two sons, Glen Leimkuehler of Columbia, Missouri, and Charles (Robin) Leimkuehler of Marshall, Missouri.

She leaves behind four grandchildren: Nicole (Corey) Richmond of Boonville, Missouri; Theresa (Johnathan) Kudu of Boonville, Missouri; Nick (Samantha) Leimkuehler of Marshall, Missouri; and Megan Leimkuehler of Marshall, Missouri.

She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren: Nicole, Wyatt, Olivia, Maddison, Payton, and Pierson.

Barb is also survived by her sister, Sharon (Terry) Barnett of Springfield, Missouri; her sisters-in-law, Linda and Dolores Heishman; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Baldwin; her parents, Gordon and Nedra Heishman; and her siblings, Marvin, Dale, Lloyd, Herman, Delmer, Daisy, and John.

Barb’s life was a beautiful reminder that happiness doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, it is found in a good story, a meal shared with friends, a game of cards, or simply being surrounded by the people you love.

Though her story here on earth has come to an end, the love she shared and the memories she leaves behind will live on in the hearts of her family and friends forever.
