Barbara A. (Haglund) Savio passed peacefully Thur. Oct. 18, 2018 at the age of 70. She was born on Mar. 20, 1948 to Wayne and Nellis Haglund in Kansas City, MO. She was a graduate of Raytown South High School and attended the University of Kansas. Barbara married Walter L. (Bo) Savio, Jr. on Sept. 25, 1971. She was a proud stay-at-home mom and a long-time member of Raytown Christian Church, where she completed the Stephen Ministries program.
She is survived by her husband and caregiver, Bo, and their children: Sarah Basore (Brent) of Kansas City; Stephanie Griffith (Bryce) of Tualatin, OR; Jon Savio (Erica) of San Antonio, TX and Rebecca Butler (Ryan) of Kansas City; their three grandchildren: Bodan, Giovanna, and Evangeline, and their beloved golden retriever, Shadow.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Tom Haglund, and his wife Robbie.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 am and memorial service at 10:00 am Sat. Oct. 27th at Raytown Christian Church, 6108 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Raytown Christian Church or Midwest Animal ResQ (MARQ).

Dear Savio Family,
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Your Wife, Mother and Grandmother was a beautiful person.
She will be missed by all that had the pleasure of knowing her. Heaven truly has another wonderful Angel.
