Barbara Ann Laemmli

Barbara Ann Laemmli, 90, of Columbia, MO, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2013 at Lenoir Woods in Columbia.  Memorial services will be held at Broadway Christian Church, Columbia, MO at 11:00 a.m.  on Thursday, November 7, followed by the internment of her ashes at the Broadway Christian Church Memorial Garden.

Barbara was born to C.W.H. and Edna Clarke Brakensiek on May 12, 1923 in Junction City, KS, and married Gene Laemmli in Kirkwood, MO in 1945. She was preceded in death by her parents and by her son, Carl H. Laemmli.

She is survived by her husband Gene, of Columbia, son Jim Laemmli and his wife Debbie, of Laurie, MO,   daughter Ann Cunningham and her husband William of Cape Girardeau, MO, daughter-in law Leslie Laemmli of Overland Park, KS, and 8 grandchildren, Amy Laemmli, Paul Laemmli and his wife, Cassie, Matt Laemmli, Katie Rose, Lindsay Cunningham, Whitney Laemmli, Taylor Laemmli and Kiley Laemmli.

Barbara was an active member of Broadway Christian Church, and requested that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to that church at 2601 W. Broadway, Columbia, MO, 65203
