Barbara Bell Huffman

We are heartbroken to announce the death of our dear mother, Barbara Bell Huffman, who passed away surrounded by family on July 29th after a brief illness. Barbara was born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 31, 1946.

Barbara loved to spend time with her family and especially enjoyed seeing her great grandchildren. She was an avid reader and also spent a great deal of her time assembling jigsaw puzzles, all while a sleeping cat lay on her lap.

Barbara was predeceased by her daughter, Christine Arreola, and is survived by her daughter, Colleen Breeden; her sons Michael and John Breeden; grandsons David Hill, Jr. and Jesse Andrade II; beloved granddaughter Alexis Arreola, as well as several great grandchildren; and son-in-law David Arreola and his partner Lee. She is also survived by her 3 adoring cats, Izzy, Ozzy and Cookie, who miss her dearly.

Barbara was a wonderful woman and mother who was always there when we needed her. She was so very loved and will be missed terribly.

A graveside service will be held at Brooking Cemetery on Saturday, August 13th at 10:30 am.
