My heartfelt condolences to Sam and family. I had the honor of working with Barbara at HAKC since 2012. She was a strong , knowledge and experienced Director of Procurement and Contracts. Her work ethic was second to none and she always looked for ways to improve the performance of her department. We shared a love of cats and would tell stories about them, much to the dismay of our coworkers!.
She was a fighter until the end!

I will miss you B (as I affectionally called her).

I had the honour of meeting Barbara and having a very positive conversation with her upon starting my new position at HAKC. She was a pillar, a great Servant Leader, and a treasure to HAKC by always caring, ever kind and giving. Whilst waves of grief break over her coworkers and family, crushing like a storm, God greeted her with a warm embrace, and gently called her home. Her positive attitude as a warrior is personally missed by me.
