Barbara J Carter, of Weatherby MO, passed away on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in Liberty MO. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, March 21, 2024 at Mt. Washington Cemetery, Independence Mo. Mrs. Carter was 90 years old.
She was born on February 9, 1934 in Fort Scott KS and lived in Richards MO as a child. She moved to Kansas City MO when she was about 12 years old, where she remained as an adult. She married William J Carter on June 11, 1955, and had four children. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Nancy Carter, and her husband, William Carter. She is survived by her sons David Carter and Mark Carter, her daughter Amy Vochatzer, 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
