Barry Eugene Freeman, Sr., 67 of Kansas City, MO passed away January 31, 2024 at home. Memorial services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, March 1, 2024 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, 6113 Blue Ridge Blvd, Raytown, MO 64133. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 10:00am.

​Barry was born April 9, 1956 in Kansas City, MO. He grew up in Kansas City, Mo and attended Southeast High School. Shortly after graduation, he joined the U.S. Army. Barry worked at Ford Motor Company and was also a baker by trade. He was a God-fearing man who loved his family, the Chiefs and the Royals.

He was preceded in death by: both parents, Edgar and Lettie B. Freeman; siblings: Otis Moore Jr, Michael Walker, Edgar Freeman III, Richard Freeman, Beverly Martinez, Julia Dickerson, Teressa Johnson, Diana Morgan and Marlene Carpenter.

Survivors include: sister, Cheryl Johnson; son, Barry E. (Taleah) Freeman, Jr., grandsons, Randen, Davon and Braylon; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
