Betty Hoover, 91, of Independence, Missouri passed away February 28, 2017. Memorial services will be held at 1:00PM, Monday, March 6, 2017 at Heartland Cremation & Burial Society, Raytown, Missouri. Ms. Hoover was born November 2, 1925 in Brenner, Kansas.
She loved to crochet, play bingo, bake, and travel. She married Samuel Hoover III in 1956.
Betty was preceded in death by husband Samuel, parents Owen and Martha Barnthson, sisters; Ester, Mary, and Ruth, and brothers; Ervin, Raymond, and Charles.
Survivors include sons Samuel Hoover and Stan Ruhnke, brother Larry Barnthson, sister-in-laws Carol and Dawn Barnthson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

    Sorry to hear about Betty. I will always remember the get togethers we had when we were kids. I remember Mom taking about her adventures she and Betty had in ther younger days. They always enjoyed a few beers. Always remember the good times.
